I dumped a bowl of a packet of proofing red star cotes des blancs into my skeeter pee "wort". While tending my boiling hefeweisen, I forgot that I was still cooling the skeeter pee. It was at 112 F.

Anyone want to make bets on if it survives? I'm going to get another packet, and wait 48 hours to see if I need to re-pitch.

Personally, I think it will survive.

I bet it's fine. I often rehydrate dry yeast in 90-95 F water. 112 isnt all that much higher.
