So I "cleared house", so to speak, last night. I had some freezer hops that were browning, and random grain from craigslist that needed taken care of. Specifically debittered black malt. I had bits and pieces of hops packets from previous batches, so I also used the hops substitution chart to add in additional late-addition substitutions. I needed about .5oz of cascade and had nothing left other than 1oz of centennial for the last addition, so I said screw it and just added the whole thing. A bit over the top, perhaps, but this was meant to be an experimental brew 
Started off as a Centennial/Columbus/Cascade black IPA, ended up a bit more exotic. I only had to buy carapils and yeast, so I'm happy! That debittered black malt is tasty, man.

I'd never buy this many hops out right, so I'll probably never make another IPA like this again until I actually start growing hops. Hopefully it turns out wonderfully!
