This is my forth batch of beer that I have brewed, its a Hefe Wizen. This one I had a tool to help me out, a filter, it was 5.0 microns. I used it to filter out some of the hops from the wort, its now five days since it fermented and my original gravity was 1.045 but now its 1.020. There is still white foam on top of my beer. Did I filter out all the good stuff?

Good, then you should be fine. Personally, I would give it a few more days and check your gravity again. Normally hefeweizens are cloudy, and do not need filtering. Just rack to a secondary for a few days, and allow any bigger hops particles, trub, yeast to settle, then transfer to bottling bucket or keg. I make mine in the primary only, and try to siphon it to keg or bottling bucket and leave the sediment behind. It usually works good enough.

I think you will be fine.

did not use a second on mine or filter turned out great, good luck
