I came across two of those Budweiser millenium bottles in a garage sale yesterday. A buck each. Really huge with a plastic cap. What capacity are those? any one try to use one for fermenting like a soda or racking a small brew? The rubber cover for the better bottle carboy fits almost perfectly but I think I might end up using a solid rubber stopper. Ideas anyone?

The volume is likely about 1.5 liters. To double check, you can measure the amount of water it takes to fill them.
 
I have one similar ,but it's a swing top. holds 1 1/2 litres. It been filled with coffee stout since Feb or March.
