We made some pretty good blonde ale with our home malted 6row, it's a basic smash recipe, that thread is here if you're interested: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f51/happiness-home-malting-107409/index11.html The comparison reviews are at the bottom of post #110. The tasting was at 16days in the keg and it got alot better after proper conditioning and carbonation.
Awesome, it takes a while to get the beer clear with 6row but it can be done. Also don't know how far you are in the malting process but I've found that it's good to move the grains around during all phases, it's makes the product more consistent.
