Just back from California (back to the UK)

Hi,

I am from the UK and have just returned from a 3 week holiday in California (San Francisco and north coast). I was amazed by the beer, and sampled a great range. I am sure I will not be able to find such good beer in the UK, so I think I will attempt to brew some myself.

The best I had was Maximus IPA by Lagunitas, can anyone recommend a similar clone?

Did you get a chance to try Green Flash's West Coast IPA? That's one of my favorites. I've never tried Maximus, but I can get Lagunitas around here, so I'll see if I can find some tonight.

D'oh! I did see the green flash west coast but the guy in the store recommended I take as much maximus as i could arry. maybe next time ;-)
