SO, I have a batch of beer that didn't turn out too good. It was the first one I made in 8+ years and I forgot a few important details. It used Wyeast 1084 which I tend to use quite a bit. Would it be worth trying to save some of my investment of the batch by making a starter with a bottle of this crap? Will the little yeasties be tainted in some way by the nasty brew?
