Anyone stocking up on barley?

So, barley prices are expected to shoot up a bunch, too. Is anyone else out there stocking up on barley? I'm thinking about buying quite a bit this week.

How long will uncrushed barley keep?
 
From what I have read elsewhere, you can expect the price to spike and then return to normal/close to normal down the road a bit. I will have to look around and see if I can find where I was read this....
 
I do, just because it's way cheaper since I brew so much, not because of a price increase. Didn't there was one. I buy 50-55lb bags of pils, wheat, pale and marris otter. When runs out, I will replace it with another.
