Hello,
I brew with reverse osmosis water that I bring home in my no-chill cube. This time my cube must have had a little StarSan residue in it, so the water foams a little when shaken. Since StarSan is an acid, and I'm getting ready to brew an oatmeal stout, there is the potential for too low pH. I'm wondering if I should add something to bring the pH up a little, and neutralize the acid of the StarSan.

If anyone has any advice on this, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Quick answer: no. Depending on your recipe, and even with RO water, the pH might get below that magical 5.2, but I doubt it will. The acidity of roasted malts is vastly overstated.
