I racked my Ocotberfast to secondary last night. I was a little suspect of things when there was no hard krausen ring even though I hit my FG four days ago. It never fell and was oddly sticky.
Still, it smelled like beer and was pretty tasty. Right now, there are white circles, mostly in trios, dotting the surface of the beer. Might be an infection, I don't know. I know it doesn't look like anything I've seen in my beer.
So, no pics and no asking if this is an infection. I'll just wait it out and hope.
Moral: I've learned enough here to at least know that waiting is the best remedy. If it's bad, I'll get rid of it. But I'm not just going to toss it before knowing what I have. Cross your fingers.
