Hi everybody!

I'm here in the metro Detroit area, and I will be in San Jose (specifically Newark, CA) from May 2-4 for business. What should I drink that isn't normally available? Is there anywhere that I need to hit in the local area (breweries, pubs, wineries, etc)?

I am definitely planning on finding and picking up some Pliny, but what else do I drink while I'm in town?

The Bistro (1001 B Street Hayward, CA 94541 just a few miles north of Newark) always has a great selection of local beers.
 
Sounds good. The next logical question is: what are the best local beers to drink?
