I want to make a 1gal batch of fruit wine and I have 4# of frozen strawberries & 2# of frozen mixed berries. Just wanted to know if anyone would have a rough estimate of the amount of sugar needed to get to about 1090is for an OG?
 
I would start with 1.5 lbs of sugar, check specific gravity, then add as necessary until you get your desired reading of 1.090
