Hello from Pittsburgh

I've been brewing for a little more than a year (I started in December 09). I started with extract brewing...and when I say extract, I mean a Mr. Beer kit I bought from Bed, Bath and Beyond while buying one for my brother for xmas.

I was amazed when it made beer! It was like magic...it wasn't great beer by any means, but it was definitely beer!

Now I mostly brew five gallon AG batches and keg (I spent last year's tax return on a kegging setup and this year's on a barley crusher and two sacks of grain from my LHBS.

I've been lurking for a while, so I thought I should introduce myself. I've learned a lot reading the posts here, so thanks everyone!

Three Rivers Alliance of Serious Homebrewers (TRASH) meeting is Sat 2/26 2PM at penn brewery. And there is a competition coming up in early APril.
