- Malty caramel up front, firmly bitter to balance.
I only post my recipes that are very well liked by everyone that tries them, and this is no exception. This ESB is based on the recipe in "Brewing Classic Styles" with several small adjustments. It leans a little to the sweet side initially, but the bitterness is firm and balances nicely. Very tasty. I think I'll be brewing a lot of this. Enjoy!
