Can I use mrmalty to calculate propagator starter?

mrmalty.com has the input for a liquid yeast. I'm guessing that is based on an activator packet. The smaller propagator (Wyeast) has 25 billion cells. Does anyone know how to calculate that into the equation for starters?

Yes. The activator has 100 billion cells.

Enter the manufacture date to get the viability. Multiply this number by .25 and enter it back into the viability field. That will set the assumptions correctly for the starting number of cells.

Basically means you will need a very large starter! (But I always start with propagators too). And I do what remilard said (propagator has 1/4 has many cells as the activator)
