hi there,
i'm gearing up to try my first partial mash this weekend and i'm going to try this recipe, its an irish ale.
2.20 kg. Maris Otter Pale info
0.28 kg. American Caramel 60°L info
0.14 kg. Belgian Biscuit info
0.14 kg. Roasted Barley info
2 kg. Dry Light Extract info
34 g. East Kent Goldings (Pellets, 5.00 %AA) boiled 60 min. info
Yeast : White Labs WLP004 Irish Stout info
my problem is my local homebrew store doesn't have american caramel or belgian biscuit.
can anyone suggest any alternatives?? i'm a bit lost and all the names don't really mean much to me yet!!!
cheers for any advice.
