Hey everybody! I'm just getting started on my brewing career and thought it would be helpful to myself, and other new brewers if we could get some of the vets on here to share their "ONE favorite recipe". Or even any new brewer who has experienced great success with one of their early brews.
Just pick ONE!! Pick your all time favorite. If you could only brew one beer for the rest of your life what would it be?
Since I have only brewed 2 batches (both still fermenting) I will just post my simple Pale Ale recipe that I used which did taste delicious after I took my hydrometer reading after 7 days.
Just post the nuts and bolts...basic grain bill, hop schedule and yeast strain.
7.5 # Pale LME
1 # Caravienne (steeped)
.75 oz Centennial (60 min)
.5 oz Cascade (15 min)
.5 oz Cascade (5 min)
1 0z Cascade (Dry hop)
Yeast: US Safale-05
Also, please feel free to post any pics of your delightful brews. I can't wait to see some of the member's personal fav's...Cheers and happy brewing
