My first few batches there was no stopping me.
When the airlock started, and beer in hand...Time to play
Powerslave to get the yeast active.
Good or bad,it was fun.
I may have to wake up the newest batch....Plenty of great beer
kegged?....
Any old rituals you cringe at?

Weirdly enough I was just talking about playing music for the yeast with a friend today. Plants seem to respond to music, presumably due to the vibration stimulating growth, like touching does... so why not yeast?

The idea came from me taking the bpms of my airlock bubbles, yesterday it was at 90, hip-hop levels. My buddy suggested that the BPM of the music responds to the activity, like a DJ playing to his crowd, haha. Start with hip-hop, move on to moombahton, keep getting faster with some funky breaks, then electrohouse/dubstep, and get crazy with drum n bass and hardcore! Of course, follow it back on the way down.

Keep dem yeasts dancin'!

So the music is just needed to vibrate the yeast, to get them dancing right? Like this?
