Hey guys, this is my brother's IPA that he brewed on Saturday. He's using White Labs yeast, I do not know which one. But it's coming through the airlock.

Is this normal ?

I don't think it's supposed to be green like that. :D

Seriously though, put a blow-off tube in it unless you want to experience the joy of mopping a ceiling.

Krausen -- yes, nice active fermentation. Keep an eye on the airlock and make sure it does not get plugged up. If it does you will want to rinse with it purified water and then sanitize, refill with sanitized water or vodka and replace.

This looks normal. Shove a piece of flex tubing in your stopper or if you have a large piece (read: big diameter) of tubing put it directly in the mouth of the carboy. Dip the other end in a small container of sanitizer fluid and let the yeast continue their work!
