Frozen and creamed corn?

Has anyone mashed with frozen or creamed corn? I am quite sure it will work but an not sure what the equivalent would be to 1# of flaked. Do y'all have any thoughts on this. I tried a search but ever since that changed it seems harder to find pertinent information.
 
I think it should be fine as long as there are no preservatives or dairy products in it
 
As a matter of fact I just did a batch with 3+lbs (1lb or so dried)of my own triplesweet cut corn which has a higher sugar and much less starch content than field or most any that you normally buy as any form of processed corn. I'm still working on numbers and results which have been very good so far.
