Using Finings and Repitching on a Yeast Cake

I want to use finings to clarify my fermented beer. I also want to repitch on that same yeast cake. Will the finings affect the yeast cake?
 
You'll likely get a lot of naysayers on this one.

I've done it. It works. You'll be fine.

It MAY affect the beer but it does work.
 
Time to use a secondary and harest the yeast from primary.

That's a good idea, although I always worry about oxidation when doing that transfer.

From reading other threads it sounds like finings may reduce yeast content as well and make it take longer to carb. As a result I am going to keg this one.
