This was my first attempt at making a recipe and after cracking my first bottle of the stuff yesterday I am thoroughly satisfied with the finished product! This was a spin off of loose cannon by Clipper City Brewing Company which is a very hoppy beer but is dark amber in color.

I am going to do a side by side comparison tonight but no matter how close or far off I am my beer is damn good and probably the cleanest tasting beer I have made to this point and one that I will be sure to brew again!

Here is the recipe:

Thomas Fawcett Optic Pale Malt 8 lbs, 0 oz
Weyermann Vienna 3 lbs, 0 oz
Caramel Munich 1 lbs, 8 oz
Briess 2 Row Caramel 6 0 lbs, 8 oz

Magnum 1 oz @ 60 mins
Summit .5 oz @ 20 mins
Summit .5 oz @ 10 mins
Cascade .5 oz @ 5 mins
Cascade .5 oz @ 0 mins

SAFALE US-05 American Ale

Mashed at 154

Sorry for the blurry cellphone pics but here is a look at my creation after 3 weeks in the bottle
