OG w/ yeast

Let's say you forgot to take the OG pitched the yeast but then take the gravity right after you pitch. Since the yeast will not of had time to actively start fermenting will you get the same gravity?
 
as long as you arent adding sugar I dont see why not (maybe not if you have a gallon starter or something)
 
no problems. Yeast do not contribute significantly to the specific gravity in the small volumes we pitch.
Gravity reading should be essentially the same pre or post pitch, until fermentation starts.
