Brewing a Kölsch, and looking for input. Especially on the second hop addition. It buys me only 2 IBUs, but wondering if it will make the beer better. Trying to keep it simple, and all the grains I was looking to use required mashing, so no steeping grains here. thanks.

Briess Pilsen Extra Light Liquid Extract 2 lbs, 12 oz
Briess Munich Liquid Extract 1 lbs, 0 oz
Briess Bavarian Wheat Liquid Extract 0 lbs, 4 oz

White Labs German Ale/Kolsch 1 ea

Is this for a 5 gallon batch?
If so, according to style, OG is low~1.029, IBU's low~21, SRM a little high~5.8.

If you want a nice light beer with low bitterness then go for it!

I'd push the boil hops to about 1.5oz and add another 2lbs of pils extract for ~28IBU's and ~1.043OG.

But that is me!:)

Looks good either way! Good luck and post results!

Also, at 15 min using irish moss, trying to make it really clear. Will also ice bath cold crash as well after ferm.
