Question for you geniuses because I am a total noob. I'm interested in kegging my beer. I've only bottled thus far. I'm thinking of getting a three keg system but have no idea what size chest freezer to get. Any recommendations?

Freezers tend to taper a little smaller at the bottom and several friends bought chest freezers that they were sure would hold three kegs, only to find out they would only hold two kegs when they got home. I recommend cutting out three disks of cardboard the diameter of a keg then take them shipping with you. Then lay the disks out in the bottom of any freezer you want to buy just to make sure.

Lowes is/was selling a 9 cubic foot Frigidaire chest freezer that holds 4 kegs easily.

If you are thinking 3 kegs now buy a freezer big enough for at least 5 kegs... you'll thank me in a few months.
