As if it weren't enough that round coolers make your mash taste better, but now I've found an added bonus! For everyone who bought a turkey fryer kit and wondered what to do with the extra parts, here's an easy DIY.

Take this part:

Take some screen and line the inside and bottom. Then put it in your MLT. It fits PERFECTLY. OK, so the top doesn't fit securely - then cut the lip off of the basket and let it sit on your manifold or some kind of spacer.

I'm going to try this on my next brew. It should help prevent stuck sparges and incomplete drainage.
