I live near Ashland and go to school in Akron. I have a mega barley wine recipe with 14 pounds of extract and am wanting to use oxygen for this. Does anyone have an O2 setup I could borrow for this?
I don't have an O[sub]2[/sub] setup. I don't know if you're part of SAAZ( Society of Akron Area Zymugysts) but you might be able to talk to them and either get some help on brew day or borrow some equipment.
Whats your target gravity? I made an RIS this past spring with a buddy in Cincinnati with an OG of 1.106(1.022 FG) and we just did the shake & slosh method for a few minutes. I have yet to crack one open so I can't tell you it turned out fine.
