Just (finally) got around to making my jig for my angle grinder to cut the tops off of my kegs. I managed to throw it together today on my lunch break, gonna see if I have some time to do the cutting tomorrow. I've read a million threads on it, and stole the basic concept from someone(forgive me if I don't remember who). But it looks like it'll work pretty well. I did it on the cheap, and cheap is good.
Parts list:
1 1/2" PVC(Only about 3")
1 1/2" PVC Slip Cap
1/4-20 Threaded Rod(about 5")
1/4-20 Nuts and 1/4 Washers
Simpson A23Z Bracket
DeWalt Metal/Stainless 4 1/2" Cutoff Wheel
Harbor Freight Chicago Electric Heavy Duty Angle Grinder 4 1/2"(Item 91223)
Duct Tape, to make the fit tighter in the center hole. Yes, just personal preference.
