Fermentation??

Brewed my first batch last night. I woke up this morning with the airlock bubbling nicely. I know that isn't the way to determine fermentation, but later this afternoon the airlock isn't showing anything. Just curious if something might be wrong.

Nothing shoud be wrong - depending on a bunch of factors, your air lock just decided it didn't want to bubble any more.

Give it about a week at least; then take a gravity reading to see where you are at.

its highly unlikely but fermentation might be over. if it doesn't pick up again within the next day or so i would start thinking its just stuck. if so let us know and we will help.

Wait 2-3 weeks and check the Gravity.

Thanks for the advice. I think I'll just put a lock on the door so I stop checking on it.
