3 lbs. Pilsen DME
3 lbs. Golden Light DME
1 lbs. Honey
8.00 oz. Caramel/Crystal 10L
8.00 oz. Honey malt
1.50 oz. Cascade (60 minutes)
0.50 oz. Cascade (30 minutes)
1.00 oz. Amarillo Gold (5 minutes)
1.00 oz. Orange Peel (15 minutes)
1.00 oz. Cinnamon Stick (3 sticks) (15 minutes)
0.10 oz. Irish Moss (15 minutes)
5.00 oz. Corn Sugar (if priming)
I bottled this 11 days ago and am anxious to taste the finished product. I snuck a sip from what didn't get bottled and it tasted great, subtle hints of cinnamon and honey. The orange didn't come through that much. It was a little overly bitter for what she wanted so I may tweak that the next time I brew this. The irish moss really cleared this up nicely and is a beautiful light gold in color. I put this together for my wife. She wanted something for the summer. All in all I'd say not bad for a noob! Any thoughts?
