I want to make an american hefe with just a touch of malt. I want it to be an easy drinker so SWMBO likes it and i want it to be a hint of malt or bread/biscuit as an ode to bavarian styles without the banana/cloves so i like it. Critiques welcome!

I like the character of rye, but I think if you were going to put it in a hefe, it would really show though. That's kind of counter-intuitive to what you are trying to brew since rye is quite spicy/cedary. For an easy drinker, i'd keep the malt bill as simple as possible for a hefe. That's just me though.

Modified it and subtracted the rye and added more caramel. Any thought to adding a tiny bit of roasted barely?
