I'm rolling up to my first AG brewday and in my excitement I have not ordered irish moss for clarifying.

On the other hand, I do work for a chemical company that spcialises in gels an I have a pack of food grade carrageenan (hidden) in the sample store. Does anyone know what the suitable dose rate of pure Carrageenan would clarifying?

It's pretty ace working for a chemical company. I've made my own Star-san equivalent, have access to vast amounts of Na-Meta (for wines) and photography and best of all, if you phone up a supplier and come up with a halfway plausable reason, they'll send you a sample of more or less anything. :fro:
