Rhizome depth??

I am pretty sure I planted them too deep. At least thats what SWMBO says. I thought it was an inch but she says it was like 3 to 4. If they are too deep how long should I wait to see if they are going to make it? I planted them last sunday and haven't seen anything yet.

Can I move them up if they aren't showing in a few days?

I planted mine at about 3-4 inches. It took almost 2 weeks for any sprouts to show.

Just leave them. 3-4 inches is fine.

Mine are about 2-3 inches deep. My second year Cascades are already 12" and it was in the 30's this morning here.

Don't worry about the depth. They'll pop up just fine.

I like to go shallow. Deep is fine for some things, but when you are waiting for hop shoots to show, you get nervous if they don't pop up too quickly.
