I just finished bottling my first ever brew! Things went smooth enough, for a noob. I left a little beer in the fermentor because I lost my siphon going to the bottling bucket, but I still ended up with two cases plus about half a beer. I've got a long way to go to work out all the kinks, but I took a lot of tips from Revvy's bottling thread. Thanks for that, Revvy :rockin:

Now I'm looking at brewing a hefe on Saturday. With a little luck, I'll have two different batches of homebrew to take with me to the beach at the end of the month. (Any advice on recipes, or kits?)

Now I just have to wait a few weeks to taste my own beer!

I'd say the hefe idea or a blonde would be great, nice and light and short brew to bottle.

Check out some recipe's on this forum. Biermuncher has a great blonde that is inexpensive and quick turn around. here it is:

Estimated IBU: 16.8 IBU
Brewhouse Efficiency: 70.0 %
Boil Time: 60 Minutes

Ingredients:
