Sweet!

It may be just me, but this pipesandcigars place doesn't sound so good.

Thanks for the reference to Iwan Ries. I'm checking it out
I love Iwan Ries! Was in there last week grabbing some cigars for camping and had to stop myself from grabbing a cheap pipe as well...
Yep. This place is great. My buddy and I have made it a tradition to spring for the pay lounge at the end of each year. We drink, smoke, and relax for half a work day.
Ace_Club said:It may be less convenient for you. I work one block away and frequent the shop whenever I can. Nice smoking lounge, very nice pay-smoking lounge, and good selections of pipes/cigars/tobaccos.

Speaking of relaxing with a pipe or cigar, I have a favorite story. Playing Counterstrike with my feet up on the desk in just my boxers (I'm taken, ladies, sorry) puffing on a lovely Hondoran. 20 minutes in, after fragging CTs, the life affirming feeling of the ash finally falling off onto my beer gut... the hot ember burning a small circle on which hair still will not grow.
You dont forget nights like that.
Is be using as an online source. Have to do the relaxing on my porch, or garage in the winter.
Ok just got home from work to check out my new pipe!
Pipesandcigars only shorted me one tin of tobacco from a five tin set. Emailed them and I guess I'll see if they make it right, how hard is it to put five tins in a box?

Woah a combination of the best/strongest tobacco I've ever smoked and a much larger bowl than I'm used to and I'm buzzing pretty hard. I think this pipe is a winner.
Pipe came!

Chip carved pipe with a Winchester 12 gauge shot shell for the little cap on the stem. Got it from Boswell Pipes in PA. Came with everything here except for two of tobaccos. Excited about the pouch as now I'm more portable with my pipes.
How much did the pipe run you? I'm looking at their site and everything seems to be sold.
They sell out quickly. New pipes are released each week and can be gone in a matter of a few hours.

Bensiff said:That cap adds a real nice touch, wonder if they could figure out how to work a .308 for me . I have a respectable post transition Barling, nothing special, but it does nice with my favorite blend from my local tobacconist.
GilaMinumBeer said:Have looked at a lot of pipes and I just could'nt bring myself to paying $100 for just one. I think the most I spent was $50.
Have always wondered if there truely is a difference. Just not enough to wanna learn first hand.
Bensiff said:Yeah, I doubt I could tell the difference between some really old high quality briar like pre-transition Barlings are famous for or what most pipes are made out of today. However, I can tell the difference between one that smokes good and one that doesn't...I just figure that if it smokes good it is well made.
