I stumbled across a HBS online recently that allowed you to "build a recipe" in their software, then would hand pick and mill the grain bill for you (along with the other ingredients) so you could in effect build your own kit.

Now I can't remember what site it was..I tried googling to no avail. Anyone know what I'm talking about, or was it just some sort of hallucination?

use the brewbuilder applet for every recipe i brew. they can weigh out grains to the ounce and grind them wonderfully. BMW is fantastic.

I like them for the fact that I can build a custom "kit" with the quantities I need. I don't brew that often so I don't buy in bulk, and I don't have a mill (yet), so it works well for me. I use them and would recommend.
