What do people use if they don't have a mill?
I tried with a blender, feel I got to much flour....

Some LHBS have mills. Most mail order companies have an option to crush the grain for you. Where are you getting your grain?

When I ordered my pm kit from midwest,I checked off the crush option. All I got were cracked grain hulls,& the grains were still in one piece. So I used a mini food processor with 1/2C grain at a time. 3 pulses for 3-4 seconds per pulse. A fine crush, but that worked out well for biab. Wanna reduce the silt though.

Most places have a crush option. As a matter of fact, I just ordered some golden naked oats from northern brewer and the only two options were 50lb bag or crushed.

now THAT I have never seen.

I live in Norway so brygselv.no are my main supplier and they grind.
But I have 25 kilo sack of malt bought from a danish brewery I know....
