Hey everyone

I'm trying to think or come up with some kind of recipe that would make a good beer for late fall and early winter. Something lighter than a winter beer, but still with warm flavor, maybe with nutmeg and cinnamon. Just curious what everyone thinks, any and all input would be greatly appreciated because I would HATE to ruin a whole batch!

I've heard that when using any sort of spices, a little goes a long way, so I will definitely be keeping that in mind!

Take a simple American Brown Ale and add your cinnamon and nutmeg. Thats as easy as it comes. Just search the recipes here for Brown Ales. There are a few spiced versions floating around.

Well, keeping it simple is usually the best way! I think we are using our Cream Ale recipe, changing up the malts a bit, and we'll see what else!
Thanks for the input brrman, I appreciate it!
