I have a round rubbermaid cooler HLT and MT. I want to use a digital read out thermocoupler and insert these into a thermowell. I dont want to drill any holes in the side of the cooler and want to have a long thermowell in the lid that will reach to the bottom (so im thinking 18").
So i want to find out what products are best to start out doing this, but eventually upgrade to a metal HLT and MT. I was thinking of using a thermowell to avoid liquid damage to the the probe and having the flexibility of getting probes that would work in the future.
So im looking for ideas of a long thermowell (stainless), Probes to use in a long thermowell and a good digital readout setup to start with, but give me future growth.
