Hey all,
I just ordered a 7cubic foot freezer. I have an ebay temp controller on its way.

I will be mainly fermenting and lagering lagers. I know a lot of people on here use a similar set up.

My house is normally in the high 60's low 70's. Do I need a heat source? or is it unnecessary?

Thanks,

Cranny

You will probably want a heat source. It is handy if you want to make good Belgian styles, or if you make a big beer and want to warm it up at the end of fermentation to ensure that it finishes as low as possible. If you already have a controller it will not cost very much to add it.

I have this one and like it very much.
