Do you guys think it is too late for me to get a late start on establishing a hops garden this year? My wife recently conceded that she does not want to use one of the garden beds anymore so I am going to try and claim it for hops. :ban:

Thanks

Many folks are just getting their rhizomes at this time. I've planted as late as late June and have monster crowns by the next growing season. You've got plenty of time.

I ordered hop plants from Great Lakes Hops, and they won't even ship them until Early May (to avoid the potential frosts here in central PA)...so I would say hope that you (and I) have plenty of time.

I just planted yesterday in southcentral illinois. I hope it is not too late. I would assume you would be good to go.
