Hello,
Making my first regular batch of cider today. My primary is 6.5 gallons, if i add 6 gallons of apple juice, will there be enough space for it to ferment without clogging up my airlock? Or should i just use 5 gallons instead? Will wait for a reply before i start. Thanks in advance. Cheers!

Stay with five. Cider fermentations can be down right violent. You could save the sixth gallon and add it to the secondary, if you have another 6.5 gallon carboy.
