Looking for a cheap dip tube for my boil kettle (no pump, immer. chill)
Any thoughts on this setup?

With a stainless scubby on the end.
Does anyone have any experience with these scrubbies? Can you reuse them more than once? Do they work with whole hops? Not worried about pellets as I never use them.
I currently use a hop spider but I feel like I could be getting better extraction rate from the hops if they were free floating. I'd also like to filter some of the trub out.
I've seen the stainless side pick up on bargain fittings, but their $25, and thats about $10 more than I want to spend.
