Hey HBT I am new to home brewing thanks to a buddy of mine that I met out here. I am currently in the navy and plan on moving back up north to PA or Md in a few years. I am still learning about brewing so I am reading and youtubing everything I can get my hands on. I Am looking forward to learning as much as possible from everyone on the site and don't mind being the noob.
 
Welcome to the group. I suggest keeping it simple, then spend as much time and money as you want. If you are brewing beer, start with a simple extract batch first. You can bottle in clean 2 liter plastic soda bottles. You really don't need much space or equipment. Although, it's probably a no-no to brew aboard ship :)
