Fermentation question here:
I brewed a BIAB IPA 13 days ago, it only had about 1 or 2 days of airlock activity. I moved it to secondary 4 or 5 days ago and took a gravity reading last night: 1.020 from an OG of 1.070. I had planned to bottle tomorrow. What to do now?
Here's the recipe:
8lbs 2 row
1lb Crystal 10
1lb Crystal 60
1lb Carapils
8oz Flaked Wheat
0.50 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Mash 60.0 min
0.25 oz Columbus (Tomahawk) [14.00 %] - First Wort
0.50 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 60.0 min
0.50 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 30.0 min
0.25 oz Cascade [5.50 %] - Boil 30.0 min
0.25 oz Centennial [10.00 %] - Boil 30.0 min
0.75 oz Cascade [5.50 %] - Boil 15.0 min
1.00 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Boil 5.0 min
2.00 oz Amarillo Gold [8.50 %] - Dry Hop 7.0 Days
Size: 4 gallons. Yeast: US-05
I also brewed the exact same recipe again on Sunday, and again there was only airlock activity for a day or two. I'm new to AG and to batches bigger than 2.5 gallons.
