Yesterday I tried a Bell's Two-Hearted for the first time. I've been hearing a lot of rave reviews, including a clone recipe here. I noticed that the recipe uses only Centennial hops.
I really enjoyed the flavor of the beer, but ... (there's always a "but", right?) ... the aroma was really odd. The only way I can describe it is antiseptic-like. Made me think I was in a hospital or something. I handed the glass to SWMBO, and her reaction was very similar to mine. Good flavor, strange aroma.
Is this common for Centennial? Maybe it's just my preference, and I should avoid dry-hopping with it. Anyone else notice this?
