I don't know how the 30 tip is set up but if you only leave tips open that face other tips, it should work just fine. I only plugged the outside ring of tips and have no issues keeping the rest lit.

I actually just finished the stand last night. I brought 1 gallon of 50 degree water to a rolling boil in 11 minutes on low.

What did you use to cut the tray? I was thinking about getting one of these and trimming it to fit under my taps. Is it thin enough for tin snips?

The max amps will only be pulled for a second while the compressor starts. The continuous draw will be under 2 amps.
