    how to clean sediment in corny.

    I bought two corny kegs from a fellow homebrewer last summer. Both pressure test ok.. but I just now got around to inspecting the insides and found some nice sediment left over from homebrew...     dry hopping

    Just added an oz of cascade to carboy... Not sure how long I should wait till I transfer to keg.... Anyone have any recommendations for a pale ale?? I wish I could drink it now!!

    airlock fell off..

    Just brew a hef today and pitched my yeast... Set it in my closet for 10 mins... Came back to check on it and found that the airlock had fallen off!! Should I be worried about contamination? I know some of you might say... Relax don't worry have a home brew... But I'm just a newb at brewing...

    buying hops

    Wanting to buy in bulk.... My lhbs sells hops for $2.75 to almost $4 an oz for hops. I've heard hops direct is good... Any suggestions? (Doesn't matter if its pellets or whole hops ill buy either)

    Back Sweeten with...

    SWMBO brought home 4 cans of Old Orchard Apple Juice Concentrate (Asked for Tree Top).Not sure if it has additives that will effect Ed Worts Apfelwein.... it contains Malic Acid and Ascorbic Acid. Any thoughts if itll be ok to use??

    specks in carboy

    So I've been incessantly been cleaning my carboy.. using my brush to scrub and clean... But for some reason am unable to clean a certain spot....

    grolsch bottles

    I was thinking about ordering some 16oz and 33oz bottles...reasons being... I like how you can reuse each bottle cap (i don't particularly care for capping bottles), I dont mind paying extra $$$ to get nice bottles.... Anyone have any experience with grolsch type bottles? Do I need to get amber...

    filtering your brew

    Do any of you guys filter your brew before kegging? I'm planning on filtering my with 5 and 1 micron filters to make sure I get all yeast out (had a bad skin reaction to homebrew a few years ago)

    6gal turkey pot and burner for $34

    Found it at Walmart... Only setback in my opinion is the timer that shuts off the gas after 15mins.... Should I buy it anyways?! Im leaning towards yes!

    Collecting yeast

    Had a buddy tell me today that he collects the trub and keeps it in the fridge and when he's ready to reuse it he adds yeast "food" to get it started again.... Does this work?! Seems too easy!

    Brew Stand made out of...

    Wood! made it few weeks ago, thinking about enclosing it and turning it into an Oast for drying hops during the summer! Very excited to break it in.... just need few more things!!!
