Johnson Controls FE600 temp controller manual

Hi. Thank you very much for that info. That's very helpful. For my fermentation chamber, I'm currently using an old Danby kegerator where the parts went out a second time, and I could no longer get replacements. So, I added a light socket inside and have a halogen light that heats it nicely...

Johnson Controls FE600 temp controller manual

Hi! Does anyone know where I might find a manual for a Johnson Controls FE600 analog temperature controller? I've got it set to 70, but it is keeping my fermentation chamber on almost all the time, and the temp is getting much higher than 70 (76-78). Thanks. Frank

    Kegerator compressor trouble

Thank you for the replies and advice. It's shot, and replacement parts are no longer available for my kegerator. That's unfortunate and depressing. But, on to bigger and better things. Bought a chest freezer and temperature controller to build a keezer. Thanks.

    Kegerator compressor trouble

Hi, I've got a Danby DCK645BLS kegerator that I'm fairly confident had the compressor go out. Plug it in for about 20 seconds, and the compressor makes odd noises as it cranks up, and then the kegerator errors out with an alarm. A lot of Google searching indicates parts for that kegerator are...

Strange issue with pin lock keg

It definitely seemed to me to be that way since the threads didn't look stripped, but I would have never thought there would have been two different threads. I'm sure there was a reason for it, but it doesn't make logical sense to me. I've got 3 of the 4 'good ones' here with me, and those are...

Strange issue with pin lock keg

Hi. I'm fairly new to kegging, and I have a batch of four pin lock kegs that I bought. I took all four apart and cleaned them and replaced the gaskets as I used them. I've now gotten to the fourth keg, and the CO2 post won't screw back on. I've tried other CO2 posts with the same result. What's...

    Went passed the recommended fermentation

My gut feeling said it was going to be ok, but I wanted to be sure. Can't wait! Thanks!

    Went passed the recommended fermentation

Hi, I've got a stout kit I brewed, and according to the recipe, I was supposed to have bottled it after about 4 weeks (approximately 6/1). Well, I unfortunately had about a dozen other higher priority things going on at the time (I know, what is higher priority than getting the brew into...

    Messed up fermentation?

Is there a time limit on when I can add the wine yeast? I mean, I don't have any ready at hand, so I would have to find some in town or order some. It's been at least 5 days with no activity. Thanks!

    Messed up fermentation?

Hi. I've done natural fermentation with my dad since getting out of the Air Force in 2003, and every year we've done Concord grapes. We simply pick, stem, smash for about a week, strain, add sugar and put it in a carboy until March. It always comes out great! This year, we are also doing...
