    Another Leaky Keg Thread

Yes, its quite frustrating. I am tending to believe that it is the o rings also. They are pin lock kegs. I'm going to my lhbs this afternoon and try to get better o-rings.

    Maris Otter/Simcoe Smash Ale

Thanks for the feed back. I've been playing around with the IBUs in Beersmith. I think i may go wit a .5 oz at 60 min instead of the 30 min. I don't want it super bitter, and that will give an IBU/OG of about 0.7, total is 44. We'll see. Thanks.

Pappy Wan Winkle. Worth the price?!

I had a bottle of the 20 year Pappy. Hands down the best whiskey I've ever had. That bottle lasted about 5 years. (id drink it only for special occasions). I'd pay a c note for it again.

Double IPA Dogfish Head 90 Minute Clone

Kegged this last weekend. Tried it tonight. Still young , but good. Needs a little more sweetness (mashed too low temp). But I'm happy with it. Finished at 1.013 from 1.078. Hop flavor is very close.

Is being an extract brewer such a bad thing?

Do what makes you happy. This is a hobby after all, right? I started out with all grain cause I liked the idea of starting with grain and ending with beer.

Double IPA Dogfish Head 90 Minute Clone

Brewed this up today. OG was a little low (1.078. I think my final volume was a little high but my mash temp was a little low at 147. We'll see, time to better label my kettle volumes. Should still be good.

    Fermentation chamber with multiple compressors?

I have two mini fridges on mine, both controlled by 1 stc 1000. Keeps my chamber cool no problem, in a Dallas tx garage that easily hits 95+ this time of year. Im holding 62 degrees.
